Target datastore and host are not shown in ACP at the last step of the failback wizard

Challenge

Generally, a target datastore and host are not shown in ACP if a Failback Agent does not have proper network configuration and therefore has no connection to VMware or to Acura, which it constantly sends heartbeats to.

Solution

Please make sure that the network is configured by doing the following:
  1. open the console of the Failback Agent machine in VMware and make sure all the statuses are green

  1. make sure the following ports are opened:
tcp/443 - connection to the Acura Controller
    tcp/udp/902 - connection to VMware
udp/12201 - sending logs to Acura
